About me:

Based in New York City, Kate Forester grows ideas, companies and connections. She developed Repair the World’s Finance & Operations from launch to support 36 employees in six cities and now serves as Board Chair of Challah for Hunger. Having grown up in Ithaca and attended Cornell University, Kate’s favorite color is red. After college, Kate worked as a fundraiser in Seattle. In addition to her day job there, she helped start a monthly volunteering team, organized professional development conferences, and registered voters.

As a Professional Leaders Project Academic Fellow, Kate completed an MBA at Yale School of Management, where she advised peers on non-profit career options through Net Impact.

Skilled in board development, fund development, volunteer recruitment, program development and strategy in service to social entrepreneurship, Kate is a CFO/COO with proven ability to execute financial management and forecasting, human capital, operations and fundraising for fast-paced, dynamic enterprises by building internal allies and external champions.
